• Day 1: Cairo to Marsa Matruh

  You can look forward to an early start as you embark on your journey from Cairo to Marsa Matruh, located on the picturesque north coast. After a pleasant and scenic drive, you will arrive at your breathtaking hotel in Marsa Matruh. Once you have checked in and settled in, a delectable dinner will be served, allowing you to indulge in the fine cuisine on offer.

  Situated directly on the Mediterranean Sea, the hotel provides the perfect opportunity to relax and immerse yourself in the serene surroundings after the main retreat.

• Day 2: Journey to Siwa Oasis

  After enjoying a delightful breakfast, you will embark on a scenic four-hour drive to the enchanting Siwa Oasis, which is renowned as the most isolated area in all of Egypt. Situated in the Qattara Depression, you will find yourself surrounded by surreal beauty. Upon arrival, you

  will be warmly welcomed at the remarkable Ego Lodge, nestled alongside the stunning lake of Siwa and embraced by the surrounding desert.

  Indulge in a delectable lunch before embarking on an exploration of the historic Old City of Siwa. Immerse yourself in the rich culture and fascinating heritage that resonates through its ancient walls. As the day draws to a close, you will have the opportunity to witness the awe-inspiring sunset from Fitnass Island, immersing yourself in its captivating beauty and creating a truly magical atmosphere.

  Afterwards, return to the hotel where you will be treated to a delicious dinner. The remainder of the evening is yours to relax and unwind in serene tranquility, allowing yourself to fully appreciate the remarkable surroundings.

  Day 3: Siwa Desert Tour and Bir Wahid Hot Spring

  Start your day off on a delightful note with a hearty breakfast to fuel your exploration of the mesmerizing Siwa Desert. Climb aboard a land cruiser and embark on an extraordinary desert tour, venturing out to the famed Great Sand Sea where towering dunes encompass your surroundings. As you drive across the soft sands, feel the serenity and tranquility of the desert envelop you.

  Afterwards, indulge in a refreshing swim in a soothing hot spring, where you can immerse yourself in an experience that evokes echoes of ancient times. While you enjoy your swim, our skilled crew will be preparing a delectable lunch to tantalize your taste buds.

  Continue your desert adventure, relishing in the drive as you witness the magnificent sunset painting the sky with vibrant hues. As evening approaches, our dedicated crew will set up a fully-fledged camp adorned with candles, a cozy fire, and a mouthwatering barbecue dinner. Immerse yourself in the ambience of the desert as you indulge in this special dining experience.

  After an unforgettable time in the desert, bid adieu to the vast expanse, feeling a deep connection to the soul-stirring landscapes that have forever left an imprint on your being. Return to your hotel for a satisfying dinner and a serene evening, reminiscing about the adventures of the day.

  Day 4: Mountain of the Dead and Siwan Village Experience

  After enjoying a delicious breakfast at the hotel, our first destination awaits: the fascinating Mountain of the Dead. Although not as widely known, this necropolis from the 26th Dynasty is truly remarkable and will captivate your imagination. Next, we will visit the Oracle Temple, renowned for its mystical powers. Legend has it that if you ask a question, you will receive guidance and insight. Additionally, we will explore the Amun Temple and Cleopatra Spring, both of which hold historical and cultural significance.

  Following our exploration, we will indulge in a scrumptious lunch before continuing our adventure. Our next stop will be the serene and picturesque Salt Lake. Here, the crew will set up a specially designated camp exclusively for our group, providing a tranquil space for relaxation, tea time, and swimming. A private area will be chosen and reserved solely for our use. Furthermore, a tent will be arranged for you to change clothes and take a refreshing shower after enjoying a swim in the lake.

  For dinner, we will venture to another eco lodge where we will have the opportunity to swim in a relaxing hot spring. This unique and rejuvenating experience will be the perfect way to wind down after an eventful day in Siwa Oasis.

  Day 5: Return to Marsa Matruh and Leisure Time

  Today, you can savor a leisurely breakfast at the hotel, immersing yourself in a delightful start to the day. Following breakfast, it will be time to check out and begin your journey back to Cairo, which will take approximately 9 hours. Relax and enjoy the scenic views as you make your way back to the bustling city.

Please note: You will need to get your own hotel room on the 16th at Le Meridian Hotel to fly out the next day or you can choose to fly late that evening but it is not recommended. Le Meridian Airport hotel is attached to the airport and inexpensive.
