The Temple Within is a journey back to her. Guided by the Divine Feminine energies of Bali, the Elementals, Water Spirits, sacred temples and Dragon Ley Lines, we will awaken the life force within and deepen our relationship with feminine wisdom.
This is a spiritual and healing journey of self-discovery, remembrance and inner union, held by the sacred waters, temples and living spiritual traditions of Bali.
For centuries, Bali’s sacred waters have been entered for purification, prayer, blessing and renewal. As we enter these waters and temples with intention, they become mirrors for the deeper wisdom held within our own bodies.
We will walk through beautiful natural settings, immerse ourselves in sacred waters and enter ancient temples. Each experience will bring us deeper into our bodies, our intuition and our relationship with the Divine Feminine.
Through sacred feminine ritual, Kundalini Yoga, meditation, sound healing, ceremony and time in nature, we will explore what it means to become fully embodied as the women we came here to be.

In Bali, the sacred is woven into everyday life. Offerings are placed each morning. Incense rises from doorways. Flowers become prayer. Water is blessed and entered with intention. Temples are living places of devotion, ceremony, purification, and communion with the Divine.
There is a reverence here that invites you to slow down, listen, and remember what becomes difficult to hear in the movement of everyday life.
For The Temple Within, we will journey from the crystalline ocean waters of Uluwatu into the lush heart of Ubud, entering temples, springs, waterfalls, caves, and sacred spaces that have been used for prayer and purification for generations.

Water is at the heart of this pilgrimage. Throughout Bali, holy water is used for blessing, purification, prayer, and spiritual renewal. During our journey, we will experience these waters through traditional Balinese ceremonies as well as our own practices of release, receiving, remembrance, and embodiment.
The ocean becomes a place of surrender. The springs become a place of purification. The waterfalls become a place of renewal.
As we move through Bali, we will work with water as both sacred element and teacher, returning again and again to the deeper waters within ourselves.

Sheherazad Barnes
Sheherazad Barnes is a spiritual guide, healer, teacher, and creator of the Awakening the Goddess Within oracle deck. For more than a decade, she has guided women through experiences rooted in Divine Feminine wisdom, meditation, energy and sound healing, yoga, sacred ceremony, and Goddess archetypes.
Her work is centered around remembrance: a return to the wisdom of the body, the voice of intuition, and the sacred relationship between the human and the Divine.
As a priestess of the Rose Lineage of Isis, Mother Mary, and Mary Magdalene, Shehera brings ancient feminine teachings into a modern, embodied path. Her work draws from Goddess traditions, ancient Egyptian wisdom, Kundalini and Kemetic Yoga, sound healing, energy medicine, meditation, ritual, and years of facilitating transformational experiences.

THE JOURNEY
The Temple Within is an intimate Goddess retreat devoted to Inner Union, purification, remembrance, activation, and embodiment.
Our journey moves through Bali’s sacred waters, temples, ocean, jungle, and ceremonial traditions, with time intentionally woven into the experience for rest, reflection, and integration.
Each day will include a combination of sacred pilgrimage, Goddess teachings and activations, Kundalini Yoga, meditation, ceremony, sound healing, energy healing, and time to integrate.
This is more than a journey through Bali’s sacred places. The ocean, holy waters, temples, jungle, rituals, and living spiritual traditions of the island become part of our own journey inward and part of an initiation path through these sacred lands.

We recommend arriving in Bali on August 29th to rest, ground, and acclimate before our journey begins. Airport transfer information and recommended hotels for early arrivals will be provided upon registration.
The Inner Union Retreat begins on August 30 with our Opening Ceremony and concludes on September 6. Please plan your departure for after the retreat officially closes, or extend your stay and enjoy more time on the island.

Our days will move between sacred pilgrimage, ceremony, spiritual practice, beautiful meals, and periods of spaciousness.
Some mornings will begin early for sunrise practices or temple visits. Other days will offer more time for rest, journaling, spa treatments, exploring Ubud, or simply being still and allowing the experience to settle.
Please come prepared for walking, stairs, water ceremonies, tropical weather, and visits to active Balinese temples.
Respect for local customs and temple traditions is an important part of our journey. Appropriate ceremonial clothing and sarongs will be required at certain sacred sites. Complete preparation and packing guidance will be provided before the retreat.
