In Bali, the sacred is woven into everyday life. Offerings are placed each morning. Incense rises from doorways. Flowers become prayer. Water is blessed and entered with intention. Temples are living places of devotion, ceremony, purification, and communion with the Divine.

There is a reverence here that invites you to slow down, listen, and remember what becomes difficult to hear in the movement of everyday life.

Known as the Island of the Gods, Bali holds a deeply feminine relationship with nature. Water, Earth, mountains, ocean, flowers, and the unseen world are honored as part of a living spiritual ecology.

Within certain earth-energy traditions, Bali is also regarded as a powerful center of purification, where sacred waters and energetic pathways are believed to carry a unique frequency of renewal and transformation.

For The Temple Within, we will journey from the crystalline ocean waters of Uluwatu into the lush heart of Ubud, entering temples, springs, waterfalls, caves, and sacred spaces that have been used for prayer and purification for generations.

But we are not coming to Bali simply to visit sacred places. We are coming to enter them with intention. To allow the outer temple to lead us toward the inner one.

Water is at the heart of this pilgrimage.

Throughout Bali, holy water is used for blessing, purification, prayer, and spiritual renewal. During our journey, we will experience these waters through traditional Balinese ceremonies as well as our own practices of release, receiving, remembrance, and embodiment.

The ocean becomes a place of surrender. The springs become a place of purification. The waterfalls become a place of renewal.

The sacred waters become a mirror, asking us what we are ready to release and what we are finally ready to receive.

As we move through Bali, we will work with water as both sacred element and teacher, returning again and again to the deeper waters within ourselves.

Sheherazad Barnes is a spiritual guide, healer, teacher, and creator of the Awakening the Goddess Within oracle deck. For more than a decade, she has guided women through experiences rooted in Divine Feminine wisdom, meditation, energy and sound healing, yoga, sacred ceremony, and Goddess archetypes.

Her work is centered around remembrance. A return to the wisdom of the body, the voice of intuition, and the sacred relationship between the human and the Divine.

As a priestess of the Rose Lineage of Isis, Mother Mary, and Mary Magdalene, Shehera brings ancient feminine teachings into a modern, embodied path. Her work draws from Goddess traditions, ancient Egyptian wisdom, Kundalini and Kemetic Yoga, sound healing, energy medicine, meditation, ritual, and years of facilitating transformational experiences.

We begin our journey along the dramatic cliffs and crystalline waters of Uluwatu, where Bali meets the vastness of the Indian Ocean.

Here, the energy is expansive. Ocean air, open sky, white limestone cliffs, sacred temples, and endless horizon invite us to exhale, arrive fully, and begin releasing what we no longer need to carry.
